As COVID vaccination becomes widespread, you may be thinking about a return to work plan. MP’s HR services team shares the 10 best HR strategies and return to work compliance guidelines.
1. Form a ‘Return to Work Committee’
Including employees from varied areas of your organization increases buy-in. If you opt not to form a committee, sending out a ‘return to work survey’ is another way of including workers.
2. Make plans for sudden closures
Prepare so that your offices are ready to close if numbers of COVID infections rise too high or there is an outbreak among your staff.
3. Create a list of accommodations
Be ready for workers who cannot (or will not) be vaccinated or return to the office yet. Accommodations could include: extra PPE, off-hours scheduling, isolated work areas, remote work options, and temporarily moving workers to teams that can operate in isolated or remote capacities.
