Payroll
FLSA Overtime Premium Calculation Updates
There are three important updates added in this release.
Overtime Premium Update
The FLSA OT Premium will no longer calculate if an employee’s Overtime Earnings Accumulator equals 0.00, even when working more than standard hours. This ensures the calculation reflects actual overtime payments.
Minimum Wage Updates
Employees earning below minimum wage not using a Blended Overtime method may have a higher FLSA OT Premium calculation. With this release, we are making some background updates to the system that Support can assist you with in setting up if this exception applies to you.
Overtime & Tips Reporting Updates
For 2026 onwards, reports will include all employees with YTD Tips or YTD Estimated Overtime Premiums (based on FLSA OT Premium memos). Reports for prior years will follow the same criteria based on the respective year’s calculations.
This applies to the following reports:
- Overtime and Tips Export – Employer
- Overtime and Tips Report – Employee
These updates enhance accuracy and compliance. For further details, contact Support.
Benefits/HR
Notify if Arrested or Detained Emergency Contact
A “Notify if Arrested or Detained” checkbox now available on emergency contact screens to help employers meet California SB 294 (Workplace Know Your Rights Act) ahead of the March 30, 2026, deadline. Admins can record preferences via Employee Contacts, the Client New Hire Wizard (Core Onboarding), and other admin contact screens. Employees can self-manage through Emergency Contacts (ESS), AEE Onboarding, and AEE Self Service. Checking the box auto‑marks the contact as an emergency contact if needed while unchecking Emergency contact will clear the arrest/detention notification. Preferences are saved to the employee record for compliance tracking and employer notification duties. This option is available to all clients (not just California) to support future multi‑state compliance.

Cronofy Scheduling Links in Emails

We’re excited to share that you can now insert Cronofy scheduling links directly from the ATS Communication Inbox. This enhancement makes it simple to share personalized scheduling links with applicants—helping your team streamline communication and eliminate extra scheduling steps.
Once a Cronofy template is configured in the associated job listing, the Cronofy scheduling link can be utilized in your Inbox. From there, you can add a unique scheduling link to any email with a single click, keeping your workflow smooth, efficient, and in one place.

Enhanced Job Templates
The ATS team is rolling out an enhanced job templates experience designed to help you create and post jobs faster. The updated job template form will align directly with Job Listings form, featuring a 1-to-1 match of fields to reduce rework and keep everything consistent.
Set it up once, reuse it across job posting, so you can spend less time on setup and more time finding the right talent. See it in action ahead of launch by watching this video: New Job Template Form

Time
NXG G2 Pro and NXG G7 Timeclock Models
New NXG G2+ and NXG G7 timeclocks are now referred to as NXG G2 Pro and NXG G7 Pro to reflect an internal hardware enhancement in newer models. The Pro models are powered by upgraded dual-core processors designed to support continued performance and reliability. There are no external design changes, and you will not see any differences in the clock name on the device.
What does that mean for you?
If you purchased your NXG G2+ or G7 clock after May 2025, you are already using the Pro model. Earlier models will continue to function as they do today and remain fully supported. An upgrade would only be necessary if you choose to take advantage of future major enhancements.
