California Pay Data Report Updates
We have a lot of inquiries on when the 2024 filing updates for California Pay Data report (due May 8th) will be ready, and the answer is Friday!
A special note for this year’s report: The state implemented a new requirement for 2023 to include remote worker data. Given that the remote worker is not an effective dated field for 2023 snapshot periods, the system did not capture remote worker status when payroll was run. That information will be collected for 2024 snapshot periods. Reporting for 2023 will use remote worker status as of the time the report is run.
For users who would like to audit their data, they can use the Employee Change Log or Employee Audit to determine if any remote workers changed status between the snapshot period (October 1st, 2023 – December 31st, 2023) and the time the report is run. Users will need to update the employee record on the California Pay Data Report if they had changed to a remote worker after the snapshot period.

Shift Status Filter Enhancement
We know that some of you have been wanting this! We’ve enhanced the Shift Status filter on the Scheduler screen.
As it currently works, the filter does not actually filter shifts out of view. Instead, it will show the employees that have shifts under any of the chosen statuses while graying out the unchosen statuses. Now, we have added an option on the shift status filter to filter actual shift statuses rather than just displaying employees with the selected statuses.
Users will be able to choose their preference of view within the Scheduler screen.
